For example every December NAU puts on a “Lolly Pop Ballet.” It is a dress rehearsal for the Nutcracker. All the best acts are practiced in this FREE matinee. My kids have no idea they aren’t at the real Nutcracker. The ballet never stops, its a real nonstop dress rehearsal. We dress up and go out to eat. Every little girl should go! Flag is Bicyclist Friendly.

One of the things I like best about the city of Flagstaff is that it is bicyclist friendly.

The new interchange at I40 and the Mall has bicycle access via cemented paths and passes that run under the busy intersection at Country Club and Rt. 89.

The bridge on Forest provides safe access to bicyclists to Buffalo park and the forest trails.

The new Fourth Street overpass is complete and very bike friendly with painted bike paths.

The annual Bike to Work Week, managed by http://flagstaffbiking.org/ was well done, and well participated.

I’m not sure if Flagstaff is as little a town as it use …

Flagstaff Winter

Well today in Flagstaff it has rained and sleeted, snowed all day… it is a day of baking, Cozy fires, Kids, home playing Video Games all day. I love days like this it takes me back to my child hood when we would get lots of Snow and have a snow day mom would stay home bake cookies and home made bread, she always had a fire in stove we would laugh and tell stories I would tell her about my days at school, and she would give advice or comments… We have not Accumulated any inches of Snow …
